Work on the new portal novel has entered the editing stage. There a lot of cleaning up to do and I’m considering using the editing process to read thru the book and dictate it to gain some practice for future book writing. Should be fun. I’m hoping to also get it into a form which is suitable to turn into an audiobook. I love experiments.

I have settled into my new home at Coppertoppe Inn and Retreat Center. The last of my things have been moved out of storage in Rhode Island and carted off to the wilds of New Hampshire.
For those who don’t know, Coppertoppe is located near the top of a mountain overlooking Newfound Lake. The view from here is gorgeous – year round.
Currently, I am working on a science fiction portal novel. It is in the early stages of the first draft. Which means that I have written the story down that was in my head. Now, I just need to make it a story that will resonate in the reader’s head.
If people like it, the story can be expanded into a series.
It is based on a computer game prototype I created for a game contest several decades ago. I stumbled across the code and amazingly, it still worked! I took this as an omen that the story still needed to get out there. So, I have decided to turn it into a novel.
It should be finished soon and I am looking forward to get it into the editing cycle.
